Health Screening Assistant
4-8 hours/month
Assist with barbershop health screening events. Help with blood pressure checks, patient intake, and health education.
Requirements:
- No medical training required
- Comfortable in community settings
- Reliable transportation
Perry Clinic Support
4-8 hours/week
Administrative and patient navigation support at the Perry Family Free Clinic. Help patients access resources and services.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills
- Basic computer literacy
- Background check required
Outreach Ambassador
2-4 hours/month
Spread the word about our programs in the community. Attend events, distribute materials, and build relationships.
Requirements:
- Connected to Madison community
- Comfortable public speaking
- Passion for health equity
Event Coordinator
Varies by event
Help plan and execute health screening events, fundraisers, and community gatherings.
Requirements:
- Organizational skills
- Event planning experience helpful
- Flexible schedule
Healthcare Professional
Flexible
Licensed healthcare providers can volunteer their skills at the Perry Clinic or screening events.
Requirements:
- Active medical/nursing/dental license
- Malpractice coverage
- Cultural competency training
Skills-Based Volunteer
Project-based
Contribute professional skills in marketing, design, technology, legal, or other areas to support our mission.
Requirements:
- Professional expertise in relevant field
- Ability to work independently
